Education Level : SLC or Above
Experience Required : More than 2 Years
  1. Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
  2. Creating new and exciting desserts to renew menus and engage the interest of customers
  3. Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
  4. Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
  5. Guide and motivate bakers and bakery assistants to work more efficiently
  6. Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
  7. Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards

Job Requirements

  1. Proven experience as Bakery Chef, Baker or relevant role
  2. Great attention to detail and creativity
  3. Organizing and leadership skills
  4. Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
  5. In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
  6. Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (items that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
  7. Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
